BSB Updated Response to COVID-19

At BSB, the health and safety of our employees and our clients is of paramount importance. For this reason, we are taking specific precautions to protect our staff and clients. We have considered the potential impact and how we can best provide protection, while still providing an unparalleled experience to both.

Below are ways we are minimizing potential risks as we work together going forward:

  • Office changes – We are still here and our work for you continues, in a secure manner, whether in our offices or while working remotely. However, beginning Wednesday, March 18, our office will be locked, and no in-person meetings will be conducted.

  • Electronic options – To protect both our staff and our clients, we will share and receive information via secure email, USPS or FedEx. Please use the method you prefer.

  • Tax Returns – It was announced today that individuals and corporations may delay tax payments beyond the due date for 90 days without interest and penalty, However, currently the information we have is that the filing deadline has not been changed in any way. We will provide more information as soon as we receive official guidance from the IRS. We are attempting to file all returns on time as long as we receive the necessary information in a timely manner; however, we ask for your understanding that this may not be possible in every case. It’s important to let us know as soon as possible if you have any reason that you must have your work completed by April 15. We do ask your consideration in allowing us to extend your return so that we can all maintain our safety.

  • Remote considerations – As of today, our office is open to staff only, but because we are taking the spread of this virus so seriously, we have a plan of action if our physical office needs to close. Should this occur, we want to assure you that our work for you will be secure and will not be disrupted, as we move to a completely virtual environment. We have made the appropriate adjustments so that each of our staff members can work remotely for as long as they may need to.

Rest assured; we are monitoring this developing situation closely. If any major changes occur, such as the need for an office closure, we will update you immediately with details.

Thank you for your patience and trust in BSB during these unusual circumstances. If you have any questions or further concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
