At BSB, our number one priority is the well-being of our clients, employees, families, and community.

Like most of you, we are continuing to monitor and assess the situation regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and follow recommendations from local authorities in Virginia, Washington, and Maryland, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

So far, we do not have anyone in our firm who is sick, and we hope to keep it that way for as long as possible and continue to work as we normally do. Because of the potential for a disruption in service, we are preparing internally with the following key caveats:

  • We will extend tax returns where possible. We would greatly appreciate flexibility from our clients as we work through this time.
  • Please communicate with us early and often. if you have a tight deadline, please notify us immediately so that we can integrate this into our planning.
  • Please limit your in-person contact with our staff as much as possible, for your safety and the safety of our staff. We have several means of receiving and delivering documents and would ask that you talk to us about how best to send us your work without personal contact if possible. While we will honor any appointments already scheduled, for everyone’s health and safety, we highly encourage electronic submission (or courier) if at all possible.

If anything changes, we will let you know immediately.

We are also monitoring information related to any government-directed financial and/or tax relief plans. As soon as updates become available, we will communicate them to you.

Despite these unprecedented circumstances, we remain committed to the same level of excellence and client service we have always provided.

The professionals at BSB are here to answer any questions you may have. Please reach out to us today!
