Cathy has over thirty years of experience in public and private accounting. She joined a local CPA firm in 1989 which eventually became Cameron, Moberly & Hamrick, PC. She became the managing partner of this firm which recently merged with BSB, LLC. Cathy has extensive knowledge in individual, partnership and corporate income tax preparation and tax planning, her clients encompassing a broad range of industries and professions. She has also developed an expertise in the field of non-profit accounting for religious organizations and is a frequent presenter on church-related accounting topics. Recently, Cathy has been focusing on expanding her trust and estate tax return client base, working collaboratively with several estate and trust attorneys in both the planning and tax preparation aspects of these entities.
She received her B.A. in Business Administration degree from James Madison University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Cathy is very active in her church. She attends Bible Studies, sings with the Modern Worship Team, and serves on several committees. She likes working out at the gym, reading, and drinking fine wine with family and friends. However, her favorite pastimes are spending quality time with her children and grandchildren and traveling with her husband, Bill. She is currently on a quest to visit all fifty states.
